Parkasso

As mentioned before, Parker is really enjoying his preschool experience. We've decided to copy my good friend Kathleen by exhibiting all of Parker's preschool art on our kitchen wall as shown above. As the line gets full, we'll replace the oldest picture with the newest. I've taken pictures of each work of art to preserve its memory, and will then discard most, saving the especially spectacular ones for his keepsakes. Here is a sampling of his first exhibit!

A Tornado

Self Portraits

That is a backbone in the first one, not a zipper (like I thought). I think he resembles Caillou.

I rrrrreeeeally like this idea! We had started to just make a collage out of the kids artwork, but I like this idea better. Less work and it's always on the move! Thanks for the tip! I'll have to copy this idea for sure!! I like that it all has its moment of glory, and then replaced! As is life, no!?!? lol. Thanks!

Love that idea - and also like Parkasso...originality also wins bonus points from me. ;)

What a cute idea! I will keep that in mind when Natalie is older. I love self portraits of kids. It always interests me what kind of details they attribute to themselves.

What a fun mommy you are! I've been thinking about using one of those wire curtain rods from ikea in Kennedi's room to do the same thing....up for an ikea trip in October? :0)

Thanks for posting Parkasso's masterpieces! I love the tornado! That is how I felt in Kansas when I woke up to hear the tornado sirens!!! I also love the family portrait. I guess he hasn't learned to dress Mommy different than "the boys" yet, huh? Can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

Mind if I steal your idea? I have a stack of artwork that Joe has brought home from pre-school and I had no clue how to display it. The refridgerator can only hold so much! Very cute. I, too, like the back bone! Smart kid you have!
