You know, I was collecting bugs at girls camp and carefully placing them on un-suspecting people's shoulders. Bugs are fun, as long as they're not in my house.

You and the boys might be interested in the checking out www.insectlore.com It's a fun bug website and at the "shop" you can buy actual insects and butterflies and such and watch them grow and develop from start to finish. My boys have done the praying mantis and butterflies. We hope to get some tadpoles soon to watch develop into frogs.
Oh BOYs! ;) Did I tell you Ashley is WAY into collecting worms. It kind of grosses me out -- she'll come up to me in the yard with an overflowing handful of worms. One time she said, "But Mom, you have to be careful or else their bottoms will fall off." Yes, we've seen one worm become two many a time. Oh kids are so fun!
The boys are way into collecting bugs this summer - especially spiders.

My brother use to collect bugs in my Mom's good tupperware and then put it in the microwave and watch the bugs explode.......

Boys are so fun and adventurous! Girls would never think of collecting spiders! YUK!!! You are a great mom to give up your dishes for bug collecting!
