Every night at about 6:30, things get a little crazy around here. The minute Peter walks in the door, Parker & Tyler run up to him, wild-eyed and with the "crazy" blanket in hand, requesting "Daddy Crazy Time." The pictures tell the story. It is nothing more than your typical daddy craziness, involving Daddy dragging the kids at warp speed up and down the corridor, spinning out at each turn. It then evolves into "airplane," with Daddy launching each boy onto the couch after significant turbulence mid-flight. Of course there is the occasional head injury, as evidenced by Tyler's sad face in one of the photos (I remember getting my one and only black eye from roughhousing with my dad). So, naturally, I am usually in another room when this is all going down (to quote Debra, "my book is calling!"), mostly to avoid the paranoia! The cutest thing happened the other day when Parker tried to play the role of "Daddy" and dragged Tyler around on the blanket. The boys sure love their Daddy Crazy Time, and it gives Peter his daily workout!

What a fun daddy! I love the look of glee on the boy's faces as they are being pulled around on the blanket! Every kid needs some "daddy rough house time!"
I too am a firm believer in Daddy Crazy Time! Too cute about the boys reinacting! Your profile picture is so cute!
Daddy Crazy Time! Love it! The boys look so adorable having fun with Daddy.
What fun! Daddy crazy time used to be more like that until Vanessa got afraid of everything (she's now even scared of the vacuum). Now it's just crazy loud! Thank you for sharing that tradition. I'm sure your boys and Peter just love that time together (regardless of how tiring), and it's nice to have some "mommy alone time" while still in earshot of their laughter.
cute pictures! Jason is always saying how he can't wait until Kate is old enough to come running to the door when he gets home! I love that Parker tried to pull Tyler around! That's so cute!
Absolutely love these pictures! Looks like so much fun. Every kid needs to have time like this. Thank goodness for dads! Michelle, how does your house always look so immaculate? Amazing!
memories for a life time!
