- My friend Carolyn made an awesome discovery and solution to major January cabin fever - the Recreations Outlet. It is basically an indoor super-park outfitted with about five to six of the Rainbow play systems, three netted trampolines, kid-heighted basketball hoops and tons of Step 2 toys (think little tykes outdoor stuff). All of it in a huge, light-filled, CLEAN playspace that is HEATED! It is only four dollars for kids over two and two bucks for each additional kid! They also have yearly passes. We visited yesterday for the first time, stayed for over two hours and I can't stop raving about it. It is the perfect wintertime solution for my little boys' endless energy and need to move!
- I found out today that I need glasses! The weird thing is, I'm kind of excited about it!
- Peter is getting rave reviews from his supervisor at work! He just started his second rotation. His first was in the autism center, and now he is in the sleep center working with children who have weird sleep disorders! I told him to get our kids in there.
- Tyler is getting his eye teeth in! He's also coming down with another cold! But if you know Tyler, this is not slowing him down AT ALL! He almost ran right into the street today!
- Parker starts his pre-gymnastics class today! He's so excited about it and will be in the class with a few of his friends. The last time he was in gymnastics was about two years ago, and he was like a deer in the headlights when it came to getting on the equipment. I have a feeling that this time around will be a lot more successful!
- I have mountains of laundry & dishes that I need to be doing right now! So off I go!

-You need glasses? Weird!
-Way to go Peter!
-Tyler, you show that cold whose boss!
-Hoo-ray for gymnastics, I always wanted to do that. I bet he will LOVE it this time!

Yay for a GOOD indoor playplace. Yay for Peter and Parker and their accomplishments. Tyler, I'm sorry you're sick again! Michelle you can join the "cool with glasses" group I pretend I'm in (and hey, Matt wears reading glasses). Oh, and lastly, ditto on the MOUNTAINS of dishes and laundry. Oi!
Life is all about the tidbits, isn't it! Thanks for sharing. Anxious to see you as a hot babe with glasses!
Wow, the recreation outlet sounds really cool, and the perfect place for active kids!
Glasses stink! I can never find them, and they are always dirty!
Good for Peter, but I'm not surprised that he is doing so well!
He's a top notch guy!
Sorry for T-bone! Sometimes when kids teeth, they get sick easier. Hope it doesn't get too bad.
I'll bet Parker will love his new class, he love sledding at Christmas!
Housework is a never ending battle! Good luck.

Take care, babe!
Happy Birthday Peter! Sounds like a perfect day!
And I love your little week in review! I'll give you my glasses, contacts, eye infections, and terrible vision any day, sweetheart! I am pining for Lasiks!
Amen to the domestic demands! It's keeping me further from my computer than I like!
