We loved camping at Ohanapecosh (Mt. Rainier) so much last year with our friends the Amundsons, that we decided to do it again this year with Karlin & Mollie! It was gorgeous weather this time - no rain - and we picked great campsites.
The cousins had so much fun certifying as Junior Rangers and attending the fun presentations put on by the park rangers. We even adopted a cousin! Beau was camping right next to us and everywhere we turned, he was there. With no siblings and lame parents, it was hard to turn him away.
We hiked the Silver Falls trail again and ate delicious campfire food! Kennedi gave us a great devotional on Sunday, and then we hiked around the Grove of the Patriarchs as we did last year.
We parted ways at that point, and then our little family continued up to Paradise for some light hiking and to explore the new visitors center. The view was breathtaking. No place like it on earth.
