Summer's Top 20

Now that summer is officially here, I thought it would be fun to share some of our family's favorite summertime activities. We have done these as singles, for date nights, and/or as a family & they really spell S-U-M-M-E-R for us...

1. go to a minor league baseball game
2. buy ice cream from the ice cream man
3. attend an outdoor concert or play
4. host a backyard BBQ
5. paint your toenails red (okay so Peter hasn't done this one)
6. go berry picking & make jam
7. run through the sprinkler
8. savor a cherry limeade from Sonic & go for a drive
9. play frisbee golf
10. make homemade ice cream & eat it outside
11. camp in the backyard; make s'mores in the microwave or over the stove
12. take a road trip - anywhere!
13. sip a pina colada while listening to "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison
14. hit the zoo - make it early before the animals get too hot & go to sleep
15. get highlights in your hair (again, me only)
16. go fishin' with Velveeta as bait
17. play tennis - even if you don't really know how!
18. hike to a waterfall
19. see a fireworks show
20. get KFC & have a picnic at the park
