The boys & I just returned from our trip - thanks for all of your travel tips! They really worked like a charm! Since it was such a long journey, I'm updating in chunks. Also, I'm posting all of our vacation pics to my flickr badge (see left), so if you want to check them out, just double click on it.
The first week of the trip took place at Peter's family's ranch house, near Kamas, Utah. This has always been a favorite vacation spot for Peter and is quickly becoming one of mine & Parker's.
Who can resist a place with so much for little boys to explore? We spent most of our time here playing games (one of our new favorites - goobershmack), taking hikes through unchartered territory, and playing in the sandbox, tire swing & horseshoes. Parker also loved feeding the horses, chasing cows, throwing rocks in the river and playing with all of the ranch cars & trucks. Peter filled his testosterone tank by chopping lots of wood and building fires. We had a fun bonfire dinner one night with Matt, Lisa & Vanessa, and Megan & Jason. Thanks to John & Debra for such a great time!!

you're back...i thought peter's fam was in oregon, did they move? sounds fun on the ranch - the city is great but if you ask me the country is even better...can't wait to hear more of your adventures.

Glad you're back safe and sound! It does sound like a fabulous "boy" vacation spot - and seems like you got some R&R in too. And you look absolutely gorgeous in that picture, Michelle!

So fun to see you and your boys at Tolmie State Park the other week. I love all of the pictures from you trip, I guess you guys had a great time. I bet you are happy to be home and having the kids in their own beds! They were probably exhausted from all of the fun they had. It was great to see you!
