I have lost my blogging mo-jo.
Was it the drive across country? Maybe. Did I leave it somewhere in Wyoming on I-80? Who knows? But I have seriously lost it. Maybe it is that restless nights formerly spent composing blog posts in my head are now plagued with thoughts of home decorating ideas. Where my blog was once my best friend, I am now having an affair with Craigslist. Days spent escaping apartment life with my children, exploring new areas (hence giving blogworthy excursions to immortalize), have now turned to days content just puttering around our home & neighborhood. I don't know. At the risk of sounding like TAMN, we find that we are seriously, so blessed. And maybe it's not such a bad thing to find happiness away from my blog!
can you blame me for wanting to stay here all day with these snugglebugs?

Why do you think I have been posting my gratitude thoughts--not much happens when we are all snuggled up hibernating for the winter around here! I don't blame you at all for relishing your time instead of living online!! LOVE LIFE! :)
dude, i think you got your mojo back with the autstin powers pic! mike meyers kills me!
Your house looks beautiful, friend! I know exactly where you're coming from. My blogging ideas have definitely gone with the wind for now. Hope you have a great November, and do post if you have any thoughts in the meantime.
I hear ya, my friend! Relish your new home and enjoy your cute little boys! Little? Geez, just look at how BIG they are getting! Wow!
Although, if you have some good books you are reading or ones that you are reading with your boys, do share. I always look forward to your holiday (and others) books you post about (or on the sidebar).
Umm, I don't think anyone could blame you! Pretty sure I would love to be there with you right now!
EMAIL me... We need to have lunch.:)
Life changes, and so do our interests!
It's ok to find something else to satisfy your creative outlet. Just don't stop blogging completely, I'll be sad!
Have missed your more frequent blogs, but are SO happy for you in your new content life and love your GREAT house! You deserve it all!
I wonder what that man's name is? Up there.
Love, Kennedi
I think blogging can easily take you away from actually living life.
Jealous of that fire!
No worries. I hear ya. Sometimes I want to hit 'delete this blog', but then I know in a month or so I'd want it back and have to start all over again.
Have fun in your new home!
p.s. glad you are enjoying TAMN too. She makes me laugh out loud and marvel at her creativity.
I hear ya! Man that fire looks cozy! I want to go back to your house, snuggle up with those two cuties, eat some pumpkin loaf and watch teen witch!
I watched the great pumpkin charlie brown movie a few weeks ago and thought of you!!!
Your house looks cozy. Your boys are getting so big!
I hope you will post periodically.
Can't wait to be at your station (next year, we hope!)
Great picture of Austen Powers! Okay, the kids are pretty darn cute, too! I'm glad to hear you are settling blissfully into domestic life in the fabulous Tri-Cities! Blogging can be fun, but it can also take us away from all the fun we want to blog about! You have your priorities in line and there's no need to apologize for that. I'm with your mom, though: please don't stop blogging COMPLETELY! You would be so missed! Okay, so NEXT time I make my way home, it's going to be me, you, and sir PF Chang's, do ya know what I'm sayin'? :) Well, unless the CHeesecake Factory decides to break ground there!
i know how you feel, blogging has taken a back seat in my life as well. my favorite thing to do right now is wake up early with the baby and rock her by the fire, so snuggly.
I too have to confess to having an affair with Craigslist--although I believe my area gets more traffic :) You should have seen Seattle and Boston--fabulous!! It's fun to have the new house, and great ideas about decorating.....however, not so fun to pay for it all :) I am glad you are getting settled, looks great!
Good for you, however I do like to read the fun things you post. Your house is wonderful! I wouldn't ever want to leave either.
I blame Facebook. I can type one sentence, feel like I've updated my blog, and check in with all my friends in just five minutes!
