California 2011 - Disneyland

While in California we got a chance to spend a couple of days at the Magic Kingdom!
It was everything we dreamed it would be with the boys - they loved every second!

Breakfast in the hotel - bright and early on our first day!

Peter Pan ride!

The Sword in the Stone

Autopia

Finding Nemo Submarine ride - this pose from the Teebs says it all!

Inside the submarine - we spent the first day with my brother, Matt, & his family.

The highly anticipated Star Tours!  I had to close my eyes the whole time, but the boys LOVED IT!

Mmmmm....Dole Whips outside the Tiki Room.

Mickey's House.

Can you find the boys on this Toontown roller coaster?
Parker's favorite ride was Big Thunder Mountain - he rode it about 5 times -
but that one went too fast to get a picture!

Cutie pie Natalie.

Tyler getting brave for the Haunted Mansion.

Splash Mountain!  Tyler LOVED it.  Parker, not so much.

with Mater & Lightning - we can't wait for Cars World to open up this summer!

all smiles on Mickey's ferris wheel at Disneyland's California Adventure.

My sibs and I had a picture taken with this same statue twenty years ago!

Late night partiers!  We stayed 'til closing time both days - midnight!

A blurry pic of Sleeping Beauty's castle....ahhh, we miss you, Disneyland!

California 2011 - LA Temple

Almost 40 years ago (wow!), my parents were married in the Los Angeles Temple.

My sweet niece, Natalie.

Beautiful Mom.

Beautiful niece, Kate.

Handsome boys!

Happy family.

With nearly all the grandkiddies!  We'll forgive the Kersavages for
wanting to see the Hollywood sign more than the temple ;).

Earlier that day we were able to sneak a peek at the Newport Temple, as well,
on our way to Newport Beach.  No pictures of the beach.  Too much fun to be had.

High in the Hollywood Hills lies one of the finest art museums in the USA -
We were lucky enough to go last summer as part of the Brown Family Reunion.
